The Ellen Hermanson Foundation’s mission is to ensure access to state-of-the-art breast health care and to empower people affected by cancer. The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center opened in 2009 at Southampton Hospital and is the only facility of its kind on the East End. Until breast cancer can be prevented, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation will continue funding services and technology to ensure that The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center is a pioneer in its field and a center of excellence for women in the community, including the uninsured.
